God's Voice

Ever so often we live our lives, so busy, so caught up in traffic, or with our expenses, with our relationship problems, with exam worries that we totally forget to give thanks for the breath that we breathe.

In reading the following story we realize just how short life is. Be grateful!

Feature story this week: Tragic crash in Mandeville

Moment of meditation:
Sometimes you may think that there is no one there who understands the trials and struggles that you are going through. Sometimes you may think that you are all alone and that this possibly couldn't get any worse. Sometimes you may feel lonely in a crowded place, as if you just don't belong. You are not alone. Somebody else is reading and saying been there, done that, or these lines must be from my journal.. Sometimes you feel lonely, but when you feel that way, it's just God telling you-see what do they care, want someone to talk to? Here I am.

This weeks prayer: "Dear kind, loving and compassionate Father, we come before you knowing that we are unworthy of the many blessings that you grace us with every day. Thank you for each and every breathe that we are still able to take. Give us the strength that is required to face our troubles, trials, exams, rent, gasoline expenses, and the many other things that seem to distract us. Keep us safe in your arms and ever in your presence. We pray for the sick and those who are no longer able to do for themselves what they used to, we pray for the blind, crippled and those imprisoned. Bless those who are in positions to help others and bless those who have received help. Protect and guide those who are doing what they unwilling want to do with good intentions. Give them the peace that their hearts so long for.
Thank you for hearing our word.
In Jesus' name we pray..AMEN.
